MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Strategic Project Management of all partnerships:

– Development of Strategy in line with Global Events Strategy

– Working with cross department leads on all aspects of project development and delivery

– Year on year target setting and reporting

Development of the partnership plan to leverage the asset into the brand marketing plan in conjunction with the UK Marketing team and 3rd party agencies:

– Ensure brand eco-system is met through key consumer touch points

– Support delivery of comprehensive Pre/During/Post event activity that engages our target consumer throughout

– Develop communications plan (advertising, PR, Social & Retail) and execute creative concepts in line with events plans, in conjunction with the Brand Marketing Manager

– Drive Consumer engagement and supporter led activity

Activate event specific tactics to include:

– Launch events to maximise the opportunity to engage directly with consumer throughout the year leading to increased conversion to NB running product

– Expo concepts through to delivery, working with key product and retail teams to achieve sales target

– Course Branding and race day activation to engage and increase customer acquisition

Management of contractual obligations across all partners:

– Develop relationships with key stakeholders and seek opportunities to further commercialise the asset

– Product management – work with team to manage Gift of Kit requirements and delivery

Budget Management:

– Take ownership of event activation budget

– Plan, prioritise and distribute budget across all UK events

– Manage on-going budget process in coordination with UK Marketing Manager, EMEA Sports Marketing Manager and Finance teams

People Management:

– Recruit and Manage small team of associates to support delivery of events

– Develop key performance indicators and goal driven support to deliver event KPI’s

– Consistently work with team on development and appraisals

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

Physical:

Lifting & moving of equipment
Standing for long hours on event build
Attainments:

Strategic thinker
Experience of management multi faceted project
Cross business coordination of a large scale project
Experience of juggling multiple projects at the same time
Brand Marketing or Sports Marketing Experience
Large Scale events activation experience
Experience taking a project from concept through to delivery
Experience managing people and 3rd party agencies
Previous experience in a leadership/ management role
Experience in asset management
